Job Title:  West Seattle HS – 1.0 CTE Teacher (HF) Family & Consumer Sciences (FACSE) District/ School: Seattle Public Schools – West Seattle High School (Grade 9 – 12)
Brief Description:  Join a FACSE Dept. with potential for growth. Qualifications:  evidence of a FACSE degree /student teaching leading to an OSPI CTE FACSE certificate; evidence of successful 7 – 12 FACSE teaching experience; willingness to embed FCCLA – 21st Century skills; and teach Family Health (a graduation requirement) Human Development (2 cr. Child Care Basics & 5 cr. Seattle College Tech Prep/ dual credit) and Independent Living.   Meet all SPS HR Requirements: CTE Certification or evidence of district conditional application, cover letter, resume, supplemental questions, 3 letters of reference, transcripts etc.  Apply immediately, email Susan Grant for assistance, CTE certification and questions, or send info to others.

Brief Description:  Join a FACSE Dept. that collaborates with a National Academy Foundation (NAF) school-based Academy of Travel & Tourism, with potential for position growth. Qualifications:  evidence of a FACSE degree /student teaching leading to an OSPI CTE FACSE certificate; evidence of successful FACSE teaching experience; evidence of job experience with Hospitality, Travel, Event Planning, Food Production and service; willingness to embed FCCLA – 21st Century skills; and teach Academy curriculum: Exploring Hospitality, Customer Service, Nutrition & Wellness, and other FACSE courses.
