Job Title: Teacher HS CTE Business Education (Job i.d. 3669)

District/School: Tacoma School District No. 10

The successful candidate must possess or be eligible to attain (through documented work
experience) a Washington State Teacher Certificate in Career and Technical Education - Business & Marketing Education. The classes to be taught will depend upon the individual teacher's education and work experience for teaching certificate endorsements in specialized areas that may range from Business and Marketing, Student Store, Economics, Accounting, Financial Algebra, Business Law, Digital Communications, Business Communications, Computer Applications, Computer Sciences, and Computer Repair. The position requires leadership, collaboration, and communication skills with students, staff and administration. Expectations of the position are to participate in CTE Advisory Committee meetings, delivery of approved curriculum (inclusive of student leadership standards), and participate in professional learning communities for the advancement of student learning. Career and Technical Education is a federally recognized program requiring; 1) teacher leadership to
engage community partners through CTE Advisory Committees, 2) coordination and supervision of student leadership activities beyond the school day to ensure attainment of 21st Century leadership skills, and 3) the teaching of the OSPI approved curriculum leading to industry recognized certifications.
Summary: This position plans, organizes and provides learning experiences for students, including providing each student with the knowledge, skills, values and attitudes to lead self-sufficient, well-adjusted, healthy, productive, socially responsible lives to the best of their individual potential.

Job Title: Teacher HS CTE Graphic Arts (Job i.d. 3631)

District/School: Tacoma School District No. 10

Brief Description: This is a position for the extended day, extended year model at Lincoln High School. Teachers in this model work until 3:05 pm each afternoon Monday through Thursday and a regular work day on Friday. There is also a two-week teaching window in the summer. 
Summary: This position plans, organizes and provides learning experiences for students, including providing each student with the knowledge, skills, values and attitudes to lead self-sufficient, well-adjusted, healthy, productive, socially responsible lives to the best of their individual potential.

Brief Description: Moses Lake High School is looking for a highly capable Business & Marketing teacher. Teaching assignment includes Digi Tools, Intro to Business, IT Academy, Accounting. FBLA with an extend day contract is also attached to this job. Moses Lake High School is a school of 2200 students.
